Desperately seeking Positivity

I had promised myself to look at the brighter side of things from now on. Felt quite proud of myself when I smiled at situations where otherwise I would have frowned. All was well till I boarded the flight. Sitting behind me are to unruly kids apprx 8 to 10 years old,  constantly kicking my seat, screaming , shouting etc. Politely informed the parents but no luck. They preferred to sleep instead. Someone please tell me how do I see a positive situation here. You see I am trying, desperately trying to be positive.
